Management Team


Dr. Agodi Alagbe, the president and founder of ICEYD, brings nearly 20 years of diverse experience in educational instruction, administration, planning and research to her work with youth, families, and communities. She has benefited from several positions of responsibility during a lengthy career with the Los Angeles area public school systems, including school principal, vice principal, project and grants coordinator, curriculum and instruction review consultant, and elementary and middle school classroom teacher. Recently, she worked with Ebonyi State Government in Nigeria as a consultant in their efforts toward improving their primary and secondary school systems. Dr. Alagbe is adjunct faculty at California State University where she teaches courses in Educational Administration, Literacy, and Educational Technology; and has worked to improve the instructional skills of student-teachers at the University of Southern California. She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern California.

The President and the administrative team have responsibility for the day to day operations of Center activities.

The management of the Academy includes the head of the school, the assistant heads of school, a faculty representative, a non teaching staff representative, and a student representative. In line with the vision and culture of the Center, every member of the school community has input in its affairs either directly or through well-established channels of representation.
